Scientific reviewers
Health-sensitive pages on dopamine.co.uk are intended to be reviewed by qualified scientific and clinical experts.
Current status
We are appointing our first scientific reviewers. Until a named reviewer has reviewed a page, that page says “Scientific reviewer: not yet assigned”. We will never list a reviewer who has not reviewed the page, and we will never invent a reviewer, qualification or affiliation.
What a reviewer does
- Checks that the page accurately represents the cited research.
- Checks the verdict and evidence grade against the Evidence Standard.
- Checks that safety guidance is appropriate.
- Records the review date, which appears on the page.
How reviewers are shown
Each reviewer will have a profile listing their name, professional registration (with a link to the public register where one exists), relevant expertise and any conflicts of interest.
